Whether you are a new student or an out-of-town guest, you will get to experience what The Wall Street Journal described as "one of the most unusual little liberal arts colleges in the country" when you plan a visit to the College of the Ozarks campus. College of the Ozarks, or “C of O,” founded in 1906, is best known for giving its students the opportunity to receive a tuition-free education and debt-free graduation. Every full-time student at C of O works at a campus job to help cover his or her academic expenses. Many of the attractions and noted locations listed below will be fully-staffed by dedicated C of O students. We invite you and your guests to share in their hard work during your next visit to the Branson, MO area!

PROSPECTIVE STUDENT TOURS
Prospective student tours are available through the Admissions Office, Monday through Friday. Because our guides are our students, appointments are strongly recommended as it is helpful when scheduling. Please do not make travel plans until you have secured your tour appointment through the admissions office.
Call 417-690-COFO (2636) to schedule an appointment. This tour is guided by students, and includes a walk around our beautiful campus, a stop at a residence room, and Williams Memorial Chapel. Walk-in tours (non-scheduled) are accepted on an availability basis.
- Our tour guides are our hard-working College of the Ozarks students. Often, they have class immediately following tours, so it is crucial to our students’ success that tours depart promptly at the scheduled time. If you are going to be late for your appointment, please notify us at 417-690-COFO (2636). If you are late, it is very possible you may have to reschedule, or take a later tour in the day.
- If you wish to visit with a professor from a particular department, please contact the Admissions Office well in advance and we will provide contact information so that you may schedule an appointment at your convenience. For efficient communication, is important that you correspond directly with professors.
- Our campus tour is a walking tour and lasts approximately one hour. You will see our beautiful campus, various student service facilities, Williams Memorial Chapel, and a residence hall room. Our student guides are very familiar with the admissions process and can answer most any question you have about admissions, and life at C of O.
- If anyone in your tour has difficulty walking or is bringing any type of ambulatory aids (wheelchairs, strollers, etc.) please notify us at least a day in advance so that we may make certain we allow extended time to conduct your tour efficiently.
- If you find it necessary to bring your cell phone on tour, please be courteous and do not use it while on the tour. Please turn it to silent, and avoid receiving or making calls/text messages.

CHARTER BUS TOURS
The Public Relations department provides free student-guided tours for charter bus groups. Tours are offered on the hour 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday thru Friday. To schedule an appointment for your charter bus, call 417-690-3241. The tour includes visiting the Williams Memorial Chapel, Greenhouses, Mill, and the Fruitcake and Jelly Kitchen.

From the Branson Airport – Branson, Missouri: Exit airport on Branson Airport Boulevard, continue about 2 miles until it becomes Branson Creek Boulevard. Continue 2.5 miles and make a left on Rd 65-150/Maple St., then make first right toward US-65 North. Merge onto US-65 North. Continue 1 mile, then take the Hwy. 65 Business Hollister Interchange exit and turn left. Continue through the traffic signal and through the gates into the College of the Ozarks campus. Total time: 10 minutes Estimated distance: 6 miles.
From the Springfield Branson Regional Airport – Springfield, Missouri: Turn right from airport onto W. Kearney St./ Mo-744 E. Turn left onto US-160 W / W. Bypass. Merge onto I-44 East. Merge onto US-65 South via exit number 82A towards Branson. Turn right at Hwy. 65 Business Hollister Interchange. Continue through the traffic signal and through the gates into the College of the Ozarks campus. Total time: 1 hour Estimated distance: 55 miles.
From Tulsa International Airport – Tulsa, Oklahoma: Go south on Airport Dr. towards E. Young Pl. Turn right onto E. Virgin St. Merge onto OK-11 via the ramp- on the left- towards I-244/ Tulsa/ Joplin. Take US-412 East. Merge onto I-44 East towards Joplin (portions toll). Merge onto James River Freeway via exit number 69 towards Route 60, James River Freeway becomes US-60 East. Merge onto US-65 South towards Branson. Turn right at Hwy. 65 Business Hollister Interchange. Continue through the traffic signal and through the gates into the College of the Ozarks campus. Total time: 3-1/2 hours Estimated distance: 218 miles
From Little Rock National Airport – Little Rock, Arkansas: Go south on Annie M. Bankhead Dr./ Bankhead Dr. Merge onto I-440 West towards I-30/ Downtown/ Hot Springs/ Texarkana. Merge onto US-65 North via exit number 138A towards Downtown. Take the US-65 North exit – exit number 125- towards Harrison. Turn slight Right onto US-65. Turn Right onto US-62/ US-412/ US-65. Continue to follow US-65 North towards Branson. Exit at Hwy. 65 Business Hollister Interchange, and a quick left on Hwy 65 B. Continue through the traffic signal and through the gates into the College of the Ozarks campus. Total time: 3 hours Estimated distance: 173 miles
