A urinalysis is a test of the urine , non-invasive diagnostic tool that examines the visual, chemical, and microscopic properties of one’s urine. Urinalysis is derived from the two words, Urine and Analysis, which literary means the Analysis of Urine. Excretion is a biological process, which plays a vital role in eliminating toxins and other waste products from the body. The kidneys filter unwanted substances from the blood and produce urine to excrete them.Constituents of normal human urine include 95 per cent water and 5 per cent solid wastes. It is produced in the nephron, which is the structural and functional unit of the kidney. There are three main steps of urine formation: glomerular filtration, reabsorption, and secretion. These processes ensure that only waste and excess water are removed from the body. Urine is about 95% water and 5% waste products. A 14-year-old boy has died of the Nipah virus in southwest India. Indian authorities are taking measures to prevent an outbreak of this so-called "horror virus". About 100 people who came into contact with the boy have been placed in isolation. People in the Indian state of Kerala are advised to wear mouth masks in public places and avoid contact with vulnerable people. The 'horror virus' occurs in bats but is transmissible to humans. The virus can also be transmitted via pigs. Those who get infected are at high risk of death as there is no vaccine against the virus. The virus is found in countries such as India, Malaysia, Singapore and Bangladesh. The virus, with pandemic characteristics, is being closely monitored by virologists around the world. The Lagos State governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu, yesterday dropped the title 'Your Excellency' and adopted 'Mr Governor'. The Governor made this known on his Twitter account yesterday while expressing his dissatisfaction over people referring to him as your Excellency. The post reads "Good evening Lagos. Your Excellency is a nice title that has been used to signify authority, position in government, authoritarian disposition, executive arrogance, and a demi-god mystique. Today, I wish to drop the title and to embrace a more representative one; Mr. Governor. "In the last five months that I have been privileged to exercise the mandate freely given to me by the great and hardworking people of Lagos State, it has come to my consciousness to review certain features of citizen-government relations.
